- This multi-purpose convention hall is capable of hosting international conventions. It also holds the Selene Art Museum, where nature is the theme of displays of works by local and contemporary artists and craftsmen.

- Kurobe Kyokoku (gorge)
- Deeply cut between the Tateyama-renpo (mountain range forming the northern part of the Hida Mountains called the Northern Alps) and Rear-Tateyama-renpo (mountain range consisting of Shirouma-dake and Kashima Yariga-take, similarly constituting part of the Hida Mountains), Kurobe Kyokoku (gorge) is equipped with a train railway line. It allows tourists to go on a trip to appreciate a superb view of the gorge, the largest and deepest in Japan. The gorge is noted for many unexplored hot springs around it.

- Ishida Fisherina and Fishing Pier
- The marina contains a boatyard, which can accommodate both yachts and motor boats, fishing pier, which extends into the bay for 170 meters and a seminar house where fishing rods can be rented and bait bought. The popular fishing point provides great fishing all through the year and is in an ideal location.

- Yoshida Science Center

The main attraction here is what is said to be the largest planetarium on this side of Japan. You will be overwhelmed by the view of the universe projected on the 20 meter diameter giant dome. You can also view 3 dimensional and other original works.

- Uozu Aquarium
- Boasting of a variety of fish species collected from various districts in Japan and overseas, the Uozu Aquarium features a submarine tunnel designed to make you feel like you are under the sea while observing fish. Adjacent to the aquarium is an amusement park "Mirage Land" which features various amusement facilities such as a giant ferriswheel, the largest on the coast of the Sea of Japan.

- Uozu Buried Forest Museum
- Discovered in the sea of Uozu Port, and later designated by the nation as a natural monument, the buried forest on display to the public at this museum is considered to date back approximately 2,000 years. It is believed to have been formed when the sea level rose as a result of global warming with subsequent accumulation of river dirt and sand.
